This policy explains how Bin Clean collects and uses your personal data when you visit binclean.es or register your interest in our wheelie bin cleaning service. We are committed to protecting your privacy in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spain’s Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection (LOPDGDD).
Who we are
This website and the Bin Clean service are run by Bin Clean, based in the south of Spain. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@binclean.es.
What data we collect
When you fill in our registration form we collect:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your postcode, so we know which area you live in
- The plan you are interested in (if you choose one)
- Your consent, and the date and time you gave it
We do not ask for, and do not want, any payment details at this stage.
Why we use it
- To contact you about your registration and let you know whether a launch place has been confirmed for you
- To tell you when our service goes live in your area, and how to start
- To reply to any questions you send us
We will not send you unrelated marketing, and we will never sell or rent your data.
Our legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box on our form. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it.
Who can see your data
Only Bin Clean can access your registration. Your data is stored on our website, which is hosted by GoDaddy, and may pass through the email and office software we use to run the business. These providers act as data processors on our behalf and may only use your data to provide their service to us. Where a provider stores data outside the European Economic Area, it does so under the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration until our service launches and for up to 12 months afterwards. If you become a customer, we keep the data we need to provide the service for as long as you remain one, plus any period the law requires (for example, for tax records). If you don’t become a customer, we delete your details at the end of that period, or sooner if you ask us to.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy of it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@binclean.es. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos) at www.aepd.es.
