No. You don’t need to be at home. We clean your bins the day after your rubbish collection, and we’ll let you know in advance which week we’re coming. As long as your bins are out on the street or somewhere we can easily reach them, we’ll clean them on your scheduled date.

We don’t just clean your bins: we disinfect, sanitise and deodorise them too. We use very hot water, which kills 99.9% of bacteria, germs and viruses. We also clean the outside of the bin, including the parts you touch most, like the lid and handle.

Yes. We recommend cleaning both, because bacteria, viruses and germs build up in both types of bin.
